JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for all engineering aspects onboard.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Tim grew up in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, where he developed his love for the ocean. He then relocated to Pretoria, South Africa, where he started working as a heavy vehicle mechanic at a large transport/trucking company. In 2012, Tim traveled to France and Italy to try his hand at yachting, and he has been doing it ever since. Tim has been onboard Surina for over six years.

EDUCATION/LICENSES: MCA Y3.

PREVIOUS YACHTS: S/Y Tenacious, M/Y Lazy Z and M/Y Zita.

WATERS CRUISED: Mediterranean, Southeast United States, Caribbean, and Southern Africa.

HOBBIES: Watching sports, particularly Liverpool Football Club and Oakland Raiders, and traveling the United States.
